Summary of Position:

The Salesforce Administrator will lead the implementation and ongoing development of Salesforce.com deployments for our clients. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with Business Analyst, functional leaders, and development team to identify, develop and deploy improved business processes. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our clients’ CRM platforms. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, part Salesforce analyst and 100% dedicated to our mission and upholding our values.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Completing regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Managing Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinating the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Working with our team and the client to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assisting in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the client organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between the project team, the stakeholders, the users, and the application development teams
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements and processes
  • Assisting in the design and implementation business technology solutions focused on Salesforce.com
  • Supporting the development of business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, testing and deployment
  • Contributing the growth of Oppty through thought-leadership, development of solution accelerators, reusable assets and participation and ownership of other operational areas (recruiting, onboarding, training, enablement, etc.)
  • Providing mentoring and guidance to other team members and clients

Skills and Experience You’ll Need to Have:

  • 2+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • 1 or more Salesforce Certifications (Admin certification preferred)
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to create formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment of requirements and objectives. 
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
